Right from the Body Shop

restored by Gary's Body Shop of Dayton, OH (on Rector Rd.). I have
owned the car for about 15 years and finally saved enough money to have
it restored. Unfortunately I am mechanically challenged, so I did not
attempt this myself. The Model 181 Thing was in the shop for about a
year and a half. The picture above is right before taking back
possesion. Gary's had also restored the undercarriage a couple of year
before that. The work is absolutely beautiful with much detail
restoration of parts that is not even visible (e.g., the body behind
the back wheel vents). A couple of items still need work. For example
note that the wipers are missing. I will buy the broken connecting rod
between the wipers soon. The engine also needs extra hoses, a new carb,
etc. However, the entire interior is new as well as the exterior as is
shown here.
