Vegetarianism
I love vegetarian dishes of all varieties. Here is an easy recipe that
is quite interesting. I took it from Favorite Vegetarian Recipes by the Gilead Institute of America.
Lentil Loaf
- 1 lb. dry lentils
- 1 t. garlic powder
- 3/4 stick margarine
- 1/2 t/ salt
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. honey
Clean and rinse lentils. Cover in water with 1 inch of water above lentils.
Cook for about 1 hour or until tender. Drain lentils and mix in rest of
ingredients. Put in greases baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes
to 1 hour.
